The Role
As a Pre-Sales Engineer at Tipser, you will partner with our Sales team as a technical resource while engaging with prospective clients. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding potential customers' technical needs and translating how our platform offerings could be a fit. You will be proficient in the technical aspects of Tipser's platform, and will advise on and help to design solutions for potential customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple years of experience in a junior-level presales/ solution consultant or similar role in enterprise software and is looking for a high impact role at a fast-paced and dynamic scale-up growing its global presence.
This is a full-time role based in our Stockholm office.
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will:
- Answer technical questions from prospects and clients regarding Tipser technology, features, solutions, and applications
- Articulate Tipser technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
- Understand key technical objections and develop strategies to resolve technical roadblocks
- Collaborate on and present custom product demonstrations to support the sales cycle
- Become a trusted advisor for the client and help define their integration strategy
- Partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting client adoption
- Advise as a solutions sales representative if the need arises
- Responsible for completion of technical requirements within RFI/RFPs
We think that you have:
- A university degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
- 1-2+ years of professional experience solutions engineering or in a technical customer facing role
- A service oriented mindset, are customer driven, and able to deliver high quality work without a lot of oversight
- An analytical mind. You know how to collect data and how to visualize it
- An understanding of web standards, best practices, browser features, limitations and quirks
- Experience with APIs - how they work and how they talk
- Business level knowledge of English in both speaking and writing
We would like it if you have:
- Proven knowledge of and working experience in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Knowledge of React and its ecosystem
- Experience working within a CMS
- Basic UI knowledge
- An understanding of media and marketplaces and preferably e-commerce
- Experience working in a scale-up environment
- A problem solving mindset
- An entrepreneurial, self-driven way of working
